As your propane supplier, we take pride in helping keep your propane tank in tip-top shape. No one likes an eyesore on their property, and we know just the way to prevent it - tank painting!

We are happy to provide propane tank painting services for our customers. Tanks that are owned by Key Cooperative can be painted at no charge to the customer. Customer-owned tanks can be painted for a fee.

We lean on many people’s eyes and hands to get the job done and keep your tank looking nice. It’s our propane drivers’ responsibility to make sure each and every tank they deliver to is in good condition. If it’s not, they will let one of our Energy Customer Service Representatives know that the tank needs to be painted. This request can also come from our customers. If you think your tank could use a paint job, call your Key Cooperative location and let us know. Our Energy Team will create a work order for one of our tank painters to complete.

Every summer, we look forward to hiring new tank painters in both our northern and southern regions. We equip them with a truck, power washer, paint, brushes, rollers and new Key Cooperative logos. These employees are taught the process of making each tank look like new!

The tank painting component of our Energy Department is very important to us because we know how important it is to our customers. We strive to provide quality service and maintain professional-looking tanks on your property. If you're interested in having your tank painted, call our Energy Team at 800-469-1040, or your Key Cooperative location!
